This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of BSEC.LV DNS services. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in service suspension or termination.
Permitted Uses
- Personal DNS resolution for home networks and devices
- Small business DNS filtering and security
- Educational and research purposes
- Protecting family members from harmful content
- Blocking advertisements and tracking domains
- Enhancing network security against malware and phishing
- Custom DNS configuration within service limits
Prohibited Uses
Violations of these prohibitions will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
- Any illegal activity under Latvian, EU, or international law
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or malicious software
- Conducting cyberattacks (DDoS, DNS amplification, cache poisoning)
- Phishing, fraud, or identity theft
- Accessing or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Terrorism, incitement to violence, or hate speech
- Intellectual property infringement
- Unauthorized data harvesting or scraping
- Circumventing security measures or access controls
- Reselling or redistributing services without authorization
- Excessive queries that degrade service for other users
- Using the service to bypass legal restrictions or court orders
Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Monitor usage patterns for policy compliance
- Investigate reported violations
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy
- Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities
- Implement rate limiting for excessive usage
- Block access from IP addresses engaged in abuse
